South Center awarded by President Andrzej Duda in Accessibility Leader competition
One of the buildings in the South Center was ranked among the office buildings best adapted to the needs of the people with disabilities. Centrum Południe is a complex under construction on Powstańców Śląskich Street.
The nationwide Accessibility Leader competition, under the honorary patronage of Poland's president, has for the past seven years selected investments distinguished by their architectural accessibility. This year Skanska's Centrum Południe office building in Wroclaw joined the group of the best.
The goal of the competition is to draw attention to the problem of existing architectural barriers, as well as to promote positive solutions for the accessibility of objects and spaces for people with various disabilities.
When creating new workplaces, it is essential to create accessibility in offices for every employee, including those with special needs. This is how we build inclusive communities, integrate them and support diversity.

The South Center provides a number of improvements for people with limited mobility.
Skanska is also highlighting environmental aspects. The most interesting ones are: the Center is fully powered by electricity from wind farms andthe technology used allows for the reuse of greywater and rainwater, generating savings in water consumption of 58 percent.
Construction of the third of five office buildings is coming to an end
Centrum Południe, under construction on Powstańców Śląskich Street next to the Sky Tower, is a group of five office buildings. Construction of the first was completed in July 2020. The second building is also in operation.
Construction of the third office building (CP3) has been underway since the middle of last year and will be completed in December (at the earliest). From the outside, the building is finished. Besides offices, it will include, for example, dining areas, loggias (on almost every floor) and a terrace for the exclusive use of employees. In front of the facility they will build a public basketball court.
