An intensive series of classes for young entrepreneurs, to be delivered by practitioners, is planned for late August.

The lecturers at Startup Summer School will include Bartłomiej Postek, President of the online course publisher Funmendia, Bartosz Majewski, co-founder of the company Righthello, Maciej Frankowicz of the fund Arkley, Wojciech Mróż, a member of the board of Alpha Capital Group, and Adrian Czyczerski of MeetingApplication.com.

To build a network of contacts

– I don’t think there are worse talents in Poland than in the USA, but I believe we are much more poorly organised. Thus, we much less often use the advantages of networking, which is reflected by less opportunity to develop one’s business – stresses Postek. – We want Startup Summer School to help change it, as apart from conveying proper know-how our aim is to create a network of contacts which in the future will help the participants – adds the Funmedia founder.

Choose courses for yourself

Startup Summer School comprises two five-day courses. Focusing on product development and entering the market, the first one will last from August 21 to 25.
During the second course, from August 28 to September 1, the participants will find out more about sales scaling their business. The classes, to be held from 3 pm to 8 pm, will be delivered in English. Afterward, there will be time for networking.

The admission price for five days of training and all materials is 1,400 PLN (for enrolments by July 21). For enrolments between July 22 and 31, the price is 1,750 PLN. Those who will take part in both courses are entitled to a 20 percent discount, also applicable if the participant is sent on the course by a company.
