Synergy Awards 2026: These Wroclaw Projects Showed That Together, We Can Achieve More
Joint initiatives involving business, academia, government, and local communities were recognized at the Synergy Awards 2026. The winners received their trophies during a gala ceremony at the Centennial Hall, which served as the culmination of a two-day business festival in the capital of Lower Silesia—Made in Wroclaw 2026.
The Synergy Awards 2026 competition recognizes valuable examples of collaboration that benefit the development of Wrocław and the region. It is organized by the Wrocław Agglomeration Development Agency.
Projects carried out by at least two independent entities or individuals were eligible to enter the competition. It was sufficient for one of the companies participating in the project to operate in Lower Silesia. Submissions could pertain to initiatives that had been completed or were still in progress, and participation in the competition was free of charge.

An independent panel of experts decided on the award winners. The most important criteria were: the quality and depth of the partnership, the project’s tangible impact on the development of Lower Silesia, and the sustainability and scalability of the results achieved.

The winners received their awards during the Synergy Awards Gala, which served as the culmination of this year’s Made in Wroclaw event.
This award and this competition are a very natural outgrowth of “Made in Wroclaw,” because we talk about this collaboration and co-creation all the time on this occasion. Here at the Wrocław Agglomeration Development Agency, we also have a great deal of synergy; we support one another, and all these important projects we’re carrying out wouldn’t be possible if we were working alone.
Dr. Magdalena Okulowska, president of the Wrocław Agglomeration Development Agency.

Rigorous Evaluation of Submissions
The competition’s proper conduct and the rigorous evaluation of submissions were overseen by the content partner, SDZLegal SCHINDHELM. Tomasz Szarek, managing partner at SDZLegal SCHINDHELM, emphasized that the selection of nominees and winners was conducted in accordance with the rules.
We are proud and delighted to be part of an event that has made a strong mark on our city in recent years and is one of the most recognizable events in Wrocław.

ARAW Celebrates 20 Years of Operation
The gala also served as an opportunity to highlight the 20th anniversary of the Wrocław Agglomeration Development Agency (ARAW).
For twenty years now, ARAW has been evolving alongside Wrocław. It meets the needs of businesses and residents alike, giving rise to new projects and new collaborations. And all of this is possible precisely because we can collaborate with numerous institutions, all universities, and a whole host of partners—because as an institution tasked with guiding businesses and residents through the intricacies of city life, we simply must rely on such support. We extend our heartfelt thanks for it.
Magdalena Okulowska
