On June 16-17, representatives of investment funds will meet scientists and innovators during the Alfa School event held at Wrocław Technology Park to help them put their ideas to business use. The event is organised under the auspices of the National Centre for Research and Development. Alfa School is a two day event preparing scientists to commercialise their projects and cooperate with investment funds concentrated around the BRIdge Alfa programme of the National Centre for Research and Development. The workshops will welcome creators of innovative solutions - scientists conducting R&D projects interested in commercialisation of the results of their work. The participants in Alfa School will learn about issues including diffusion of innovation, ways of building a business model for a research project, as well as obtain information about which models of cooperation with the investor are possible, discuss doubts related to property rights and find out how to prepare an investment presentation. There will also be time for the participants to consult with an investor about their projects. The workshops for scientists are free of charge. Interested parties are welcome to register via: http://alfa.ac/alfa-school/. The number of places is limited.
