They came from all over the world. During the whole week Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences welcomed young scientists, who are attending summer school concerned about climate protection. The Journey is unique, international Summer Talents School, which is an advanced five weeks training for students, PhD and young professionals, for whom climate change issue is extremely important.  The participants are gaining knowledge, which will help to discuss climate changes on Earth, people’s and animal’s life. In the programme The Journey 2016 more than 200 students from 46 countries took part, representing 50 different areas of science- starting from architecture and design to environmental engineering and geochemistry. In 2016 Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences organized the fifth and the last week of the The Journey, educational programme Climate-KIC, by welcoming 2 streams of participants (80 people). Engineer Korzeniowska pledges that many of the prepared projects were very inspiring- In my opinion, the most interesting project, was an idea of preparing  one use portions of soap, which can be wholly used - says Emanuela Kubicka, manager of educational programme Climate-KIC. For the majority of The Journey participants stay in Wrocław was their first visit in this part of Europe. They did not hide their positive surprise by a Polish food and the quality of the science infrastructure.
