The opening ceremony of 3D Printing Technology Competence Centre of Materialise S.A. was held on 21st of September 2017 in Bielany Wrocławskie in Tarnobrzeg Special Economic Zone EURO-PARK WISŁOSAN area in Wrocław-Kobierzyce Sub-Zone. Materialise S.A. is a manufacturer of products based on Additive Manufacturing technology. In Bielany Wrocławskie, the Investor will manufacture 3D products using technology of selective sintering of polyamide powders and work on developing a software for its own purposes. Materialise NV is a Belgian company which merged with e-Prototypy start-up from Wrocław three years ago. Today, the company is one of the leading manufacturers within the industry in the world. Materialise has over 25 years of experience in the 'Certified 3D Printing' area. It offers a wide range of solutions in the scope of IT software and 3D printing services. They are used in many industry branches, i.a. medical, automotive and aviation sector, and in manufacturing household appliances and consumer electronic goods. Apart from 3D printers operating with this technology, the factory is equipped also with a complete post-production facility. New places of work in such sectors as trade, IT, research & development and finances functioning currently in the area of Wrocław Technology Park will be created here. The company obtained consent to conduct business on Tarnobrzeg Special Economic Zone EURO-PARK WISŁOSAN area in Wrocław-Kobierzyce Sub-Zone. More than 60 people are already employed in the plant. The value of the investment is estimated for at least PLN 33.2 million. We wish the company a lot of success!
