The Selena Group is building a modern factory in Asia. Europe is not enough for them!
The markets of Central Asia are among the priority areas for the development of the Wrocław-based Selena Group outside Poland. Kazakhstan, where it has been operating for 23 years, is at the forefront of these markets. It was here, in Astana, that the company built its first production plant nine years ago. However, the Polish giant in the construction chemicals sector is not slowing down.
The Wrocław-based company has just announced that it is launching another important investment.
In December, we reported on the wroclaw.pl portal that French employees will be working for Selena in Wrocław, as the Group is taking over the French company ACDIS France. Now, the Wrocław-based company is revealing its latest investment.
Selena is investing in Asia. It will build a modern plaster and adhesive mortar production plant in Kazakhstan.
As part of the investment, the Selena Group plans to build and equip a production plant in southern Kazakhstan with the necessary infrastructure. The investment will increase the company's production capacity and enable it to manufacture high-quality, modern construction chemicals.

"We are constantly monitoring economic analyses, which clearly indicate that Kazakhstan's economy remains on an upward trend. We want to exploit this potential, also in the context of its excellent geographical location. We treat Kazakhstan as a strategic and most effective place for further expansion in this part of the world. Our presence in the region is also growing in countries such as Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. That is why the new production plant is being built in southern Kazakhstan," adds Sławomir Majchrowski.
Selena to invest €5 million in a new plant in Asia
The estimated cost of the Selena Group's latest investment in Kazakhstan is approximately €5 million. The project provides for the possibility of expanding the investment in the future with another production line.

The Selena Group is a global leader in construction chemicals and one of the four largest manufacturers of assembly foams for the construction industry in the world.

The Selena Group was awarded the Wrocław Mayor's Award for Socially Responsible Business in 2023. The company was recognized for its activities in supporting charitable initiatives and the involvement of its employees in campaigns that respond to current challenges. The award was presented during the 32nd Economic Forum in Karpacz.
