Mercedes-Benz has chosen Poland! A factory of electrics will be built

The world's first Mercedes commercial vehicle factory to produce electric vehicles will be built in Jawor. The existing factory in Jawor was designed from the beginning as a CO2-neutral factory and was the first of its kind in Poland.

Our ambition is to offer the most desirable commercial vehicles and services around sales. To achieve this goal, we need to be highly innovative and competitive in all areas, while securing our business in the long term. A key success factor here is the reorganization of our European production network.

The company plans to invest more than €1 billion between 2023 and 2027 - as part of an agreed investment plan in the Walbrzych Special Economic Zone "Invest Park." In the future, more than 2,500 people will find employment here.

The Jawor site has been producing engines for passenger cars since 2019, and Mercedes-Benz electric batteries since 2020.
