Boehringer Ingelheim is one of the world’s biggest pharmaceutical companies. Since 1885, it has operated as a family enterprise developing groundbreaking health care therapies and innovative health care solutions. They include research on respiratory diseases (asthma), cardiovascular diseases (e.g., arterial hypertension), HIV or cerebrovascular diseases (e.g., stroke).

In addition, the German corporation produces and sells supplements for animals.

Company with a global reach

The corporation employs almost 52,000 persons worldwide, who serve 130 markets in three business areas: human health, animal health and biopharmaceutical production.

The Polish head office of Boehringer Ingelheim is located in Warsaw. Now the corporation has announced that the Global Business Service Centre will be opened in Wroclaw.

Now the centre is at the stage of planning and space arrangement for over 50 professionals. Finance, sourcing, order handling and HR specialists will find jobs here. It should be opened at the beginning of 2022.

Wroclaw – a city of prospects

The corporation announced that the ongoing recruitment will not be the end. One of the main objectives of opening the office in Wroclaw is development.

The GBS Centre in Wroclaw will be the fourth facility in the Global Business Service Centre Network of Boehringer Ingelheim. These offices make it possible to centralise and harmonise operational processes in three existing divisions: in Ingelheim, in Buenos Aires (Argentina) and in Manila (Philippines).
