They talked about local business in Miedzyborz. Another installment of "No Micro No Macro."
How to develop your business and at the same time take advantage of the opportunities offered by Wroclaw institutions - all this was discussed by entrepreneurs from Miedzyborz with representatives of the Wroclaw Technology Park, the Wroclaw Agglomeration Development Agency and the Wroclaw Agglomeration Association. All this during the second meeting this year held as part of the "No Micro No Macro" project.
"No Micro No Macro" is a project initiated by the Wroclaw Technology Park. Among other things, it has already implemented competitions to promote support for local companies, created a database of information on micro-entrepreneurship and carried out the Wroclaw Craftsman campaign.
As of April 2023. WPT, together with the Wroclaw Agglomeration Development Agency and the Wroclaw Agglomeration Association, began organizing a series of meetings with micro-entrepreneurs from municipalities near the capital of Lower Silesia. Their purpose is to promote and strengthen companies doing business in the Wroclaw Agglomeration.
Small businesses can count on added value
This year representatives of the WPT, ARAW and the Wroclaw Agglomeration Association have already met with owners of small businesses from Zmigrod. This time the meeting, as part of the "No Micro No Macro" project, was held in Miedzyborz.
These are conversations about how large investments in the region are carried by small businesses, but also about how these smallest enterprises can build an entire ecosystem of business, science and, above all, residents. Thanks to the fact that the Wroclaw Agglomeration is developing so beautifully, they can get added value from it.
Jakub Mazur, Deputy Mayor of Wroclaw
A chance to win more markets
According to Jaroslaw Glowacki, mayor of Miedzyborz, such meetings can help entrepreneurs from his city and municipality to establish themselves in the Wroclaw market, but also to promote local companies in other parts of Poland and abroad.
Some of our entrepreneurs conduct cooperation with companies from the European Union, but in very limited distribution corridors. On the other hand, using the potential of the Wroclaw Agglomeration will give them a chance to enter this market faster without huge financial outlays and many years of building access paths.
Jaroslaw Glowacki
They shared knowledge, talked about development opportunities
Representatives of local business from Miedzyborze listened to a presentation on the development opportunities provided by the Wroclaw agglomeration, held behind-the-scenes discussions and participated in a training on networking and communication,
We want to support municipalities like Miedzyborz in creating mechanisms that help the smallest companies. Of course, big investments are important, but as local governments we should get involved in supporting micro-enterprise. That's why we want to share our knowledge and capabilities.
Maciej Potocki, president of WPT
According to the WPT president, the development of small businesses can help small municipalities stop the exodus of young enterprising people from fleeing to big cities and thus help their economic development.
Miedzyborz was the eighth municipality where the meeting was held as part of the "No Micro No Macro" project.
