According to company representatives, this investment underscores TIER-Dott's long-term commitment to the city, where it plans to invest more than €5 million over the next five years.
We chose Wroclaw because we see enormous potential here, not only for the development of sustainable mobility, but also for the further growth of our company. We would like to express our sincere thanks to ARAW, which helped us set up this new headquarters in just a few months.
Maxim Romain, CEO and co-founder of TIER-Dott
Employment to double within a few years
The new facility currently employs almost 40 people. However, there are plans to double this number.
Today, we are starting a new phase in the company's operations as we open a kind of shared services center. This is the first venture of its kind on a global scale. It is a step towards standardizing and automating our services. We are focusing primarily on financial teams, but not exclusively. We expect rapid growth in employment in the near future to around 80 or even 100 people. Some of the recruitment process is already open, including for managerial positions and HR specialists.
Marcin Jędras, head of the Wroclaw branch of TIER-Dott
They will make Wroclaw more environmentally friendly
The opening of the new TIER-Dott office is also an important event for the city.
We are always very happy when, in these difficult economic times, more companies choose Wroclaw. TIER-Dott is doubly important to us because of its mission to create environmentally friendly cities and the establishment of a modern global service center that will not only develop this mission but also provide good and fascinating work on an interesting project for our talented residents.
Magdalena Okulowska, president of the Wrocław Agglomeration Development Agency
Scooters will no longer be a nuisance
According to Radosław Michalski, director of the City Brand Department at Wroclaw City Hall, companies such as TIER-Dott are start-ups, and therefore respond to what is a major asset of Wroclaw, namely students and people who come here to seek their future.
In addition to the business aspect, there is also an important mission here, which is to reduce air pollution through microtransport, i.e., offering residents bicycles, scooters, and electric bikes. Another important element is the high level of social responsibility declared by the company. We want to work with them to organize the system for storing, charging, and parking all these devices. Currently, they are often left scattered around the city, and we want to change that.
