The Toyota Digital Hub, currently under construction in Wrocław, will develop applications using advanced technologies for Toyota and Lexus vehicles across Europe. The Toyota Digital Hub is expected to ultimately employ approximately 200 experts.
Toyota Digital Hub employees will be responsible for developing the MyToyota and LexusLink+ apps, which are used by nearly two million Europeans. These apps allow for remote vehicle management, checking battery charge levels, and accessing a variety of convenience-related services
according to Toyota Motor Europe.
Experts working for Toyota in Wrocław will also help build the cloud infrastructure enabling connected services for Toyota and Lexus vehicles in Europe and provide cybersecurity support.
Toyota has been present in Poland for 35 years, and this project marks another step in strengthening the company’s investment commitment to this market. The Toyota Digital Hub is being established in Poland because we have access to highly qualified personnel and leading technical universities here
said Thierry Boitel, Vice President of Research and Development at Toyota Motor Europe.
The Japanese have been investing in Lower Silesia for years
The new hub is Toyota’s latest investment in Wrocław. Since 2015, the Shared Services Center has been operating in the city, providing accounting and tax advisory services to all of the group’s units in Europe.

Toyota has been present in Poland since 1991. The company has two factories in Poland, in Wałbrzych and Jelcz-Laskowice, employing 2,800 workers. These plants supply modern hybrid powertrains for the group’s cars manufactured in Europe.
