Two plants of BSH are to be opened on 14th of September in Wrocław

BSH Home Appliances Group corporation is building two plants at ul. Żmigrodzka which are to manufacture the newest models of fridges and ovens. The opening is scheduled for 14^th of September 2017. The company is looking to hire many employees - approximately 1,000 persons will be employed in the plants in which Germany invested around 500 million zloty. The construction of two new plants of BSH Group at ul. Żmigrodzka is soon to be completed. The area of the construction site equals to 25 football fields. From September 2017 on, the kitchen equipment (mainly ovens) and the newest Bosch and Siemens fridges will be produced there. The newest fridges and ovens in the world The representatives of BSH company say that in Wrocław plants almost 2 million devices will be produced annually. Modern production lines have been already installed in the manufacture of fridges with the area of 34 thousand square meters. 500-million-zloty investment The construction of new BSH plants at ul. Żmigrodzka started in March 2016. The plants are being constructed at the former Wrozamet, later Fagor Mastercook which got bankrupt. In total, the investment will amount to 500 million zloty. Over 1,000 persons will be employed there, which is two times more than originally expected. It is worth reminding that in 2015 Germany (after 21 months of negotiations) bought the property of the bankrupt Fagor Mastercook company at ul. Żmigrodzka for 95 million zloty and promised to invest 120 million zloty and employ approx. 500 persons. They are looking for employees At the moment, BSH is looking for many employees for the following positions: production worker, machines operator, warehouse workers (both with and without forklift license), logistics specialist, logistic processes optimisation specialist, tool makers, controlling managers, shift managers, team coordinators. The biggest home appliances manufacturer in Europe The launch of two new plants of home appliances is an element of the strategy of global growth of the company, which looks forward to doubling the global turnover by 2025. BSH has been producing washing machines, clothes dryers and dishwashers in Poland for 20 years in three Lodz plants. Three years ago, the BSH Group acquired the renowned Zelmer plant in Rzeszów. Besides the production, BHS owns also Competition Centre for Dryers, Digital Competition Centre (digital technologies) and six other shared services centres.
