UPM Business HUB Wroclaw focus on development
UPM is developing its Business Hub in Wrocław. They invest in financial and business processes such as customer service, sales, marketing and logistics. This year, they plan to hire 80 people and are looking for employees. UPM is an international company operating in the forestry industry from Finland. In Poland, they employ 1,000 people: in Business HUB Wrocław - 230, in UPM factories near Wrocław in Biskupice Podgórne and Nowa Wieś Wrocławska - 700, and in Kraków, in the HR service center - 100.
UPM Business HUB in Wroclaw is looking for employees
UPM Business Hub in Wrocław operates in the CU Office building at ul. Jaworska. They started operating in February 2020 and are still growing. HUB handles financial processes within the following areas: general ledger and financial controlling (RTR), liabilities (STP) and receivables (LTC) and business, such as customer service, sales, marketing, logistics, stakeholder relations, purchasing and more. This year, the company plans to employ another 80 people in the capital of Lower Silesia.
- The range of our operations is global, but we mainly serve European countries. It is worth mentioning that we do not transfer repeatable transactional processes to Wrocław, but the more complex ones. This has an impact on our recruitment. We are looking for more experienced specialists with unique competences - says Dawid Koryl, Wroclaw Business Hub Director.
Coronavirus did not disturb them
Dawid Koryl points out that currently in the UPM Business Hub, due to the coronavirus pandemic, they work remotely and are considering a hybrid work model in the future.

When asked about plans for the future, he adds: - Further strengthening of a stable position in Poland, growth of our organization and, most importantly, maintaining the satisfaction of our employees.
