Business leaders, experts, and representatives of institutions and local government gather around a single table to exchange experiences and perspectives on the changing economic landscape. These meetings provide a forum for discussing investments, the labor market, new technologies, and the future direction of Wrocław’s business ecosystem.

Investments That Are Transforming Wrocław

On Tuesday, September 15, another meeting in this series took place at the Business Garden complex. This time, its theme was “From Taipei through Stockholm and Berlin to Seattle: The Role of Global Technology Investments in the Wrocław Metropolitan Area’s Ecosystem and Labor Market”. The starting point for the discussion was Wrocław’s growing position as one of the most important technology hubs in Central and Eastern Europe.

The goal of our events is to bring the business community together. We want all entrepreneurs and stakeholders to feel supported in Wrocław and to stay up to date on current topics. That’s why this time we discussed what’s happening in Wrocław in terms of investment, what new projects have already emerged, which investors we have on board, and which ones we’re still trying to attract.

Wrocław Attracts Investment Thanks to Talent

Participants discussed not only new projects and jobs but also the long-term effects of international capital:knowledge transfer, the development of local expertise and infrastructure, and increasingly fierce competition for specialists. Another key topic was the challenges currently facing the entire business ecosystem of Lower Silesia.

It turns out that investment activity in Wrocław is truly intense, coming from various parts of the world, including Taiwan, Japan, Sweden, and Denmark. The main reason for this success is the workforce. We have exceptional human potential—not merely in terms of labor, but in terms of our ability to entrust them with responsibility. Thanks to this, we are attracting increasingly technologically advanced investments and R&D centers.

According to the ARAW president, investors appreciate not only the fact that we have educated specialists but also Wrocław’s ability to attract these people.

Our city consistently has a positive net migration rate and is a major magnet, especially for young professionals. We also discussed this in the context of growing investments.
