Wroclaw company has raised PLN 12.5 million for the commercialization of a breakthrough nanomaterial
Wrocław-based QNA Technology, one of the most technologically advanced companies listed on the Stock Exchange, is accelerating work on the commercialization of blue quantum dots—a key material for next-generation displays. It has just raised PLN 12.5 million for this purpose.
QNA Technology is developing a unique quantum dot production technology based on the synthesis of nanocrystalline semiconductor crystals in liquid. In practice, this allows the printing of semiconductors that emit blue light, which is essential in the displays of modern televisions, monitors, and AR glasses.

The company has just completed a share issue, raising PLN 12.5 million. The funds will be used to develop a new product - a zinc oxide layer with magnesium, compatible with QNA Technology quantum dots.
The new product will allow us to develop the next generation of dots for displays and reach less technologically advanced manufacturers, reducing their costs of entering the new technology. This is an opportunity for us to acquire new customers faster and strengthen relationships with existing ones.

Solutions from Wrocław are conquering the world
In 2025, QNA launched a pilot production line with sufficient capacity to produce material for hundreds of thousands of 55-inch screens per year, placing it among the most advanced companies in the world.
Our blue quantum dots are being tested by most display manufacturers in Korea, China, and Japan, as well as by companies in the United States.

New products in the pipeline
The company plans to expand its offering with solutions for the biomedical and photonics sectors. According to the CEO of QNA Technology, the company wants to become the first choice for companies in need of highly specialized nanomaterials.
A wider range of nanomaterials will allow us to create new products and explore new markets. We want manufacturers from around the world looking for innovative materials to turn to us first.

Expanding international cooperation
In 2024, the company generated PLN 842,000 in revenue, compared to PLN 3.2 million a year earlier, and PLN 350,000 after three quarters of 2025. This is because research costs are high and the companies are not yet among the largest.
Currently, QNA Technology employs about 30 people, mainly engineers and doctors of technical sciences. Although its key markets today are Asia and the United States, the company plans to enter European markets more strongly, both as a supplier of materials and in the context of future production.
