Wroclaw-based company conquered space, now it is entering the Warsaw Stock Exchange

Scanway, a Wroclaw-based company specialising in advanced space technologies and vision systems for industry, is preparing for an important step in its history. It intends to debut on the main market of the Warsaw Stock Exchange soon. It has just submitted an application to the Financial Supervision Authority for admission of its shares to trading on the main market.

Scanway has been listed on the NewConnect market since 2021, where it has gained recognition from investors thanks to its rapid development and ambitious projects. Since the beginning of this year, its share price has grown by over 200 per cent.

Now, after several years of dynamic growth, it has decided to move its listing to the main trading floor. To this end, it has already submitted an application to the Polish Financial Supervision Authority for approval of the registration document. This is one of the last steps necessary for the company's shares to be listed on the Stock Exchange. There is a chance that the process will be completed before the end of this year.

 

Technologies from Wroclaw in orbit

The Wroclaw-based company is Poland's first commercial supplier of optical instruments for space observation and a producer of software for analysing the acquired images. It is developing its activities in two areas:

  • Scanway Space – builds optical instruments for observing the Earth and the Moon, participates in European Space Agency missions and cooperates with the American company Intuitive Machines,
  • Scanway Industry – creates vision systems for quality control for industry, including the automotive, food and medical sectors.

Scanway's solutions are available on both the Polish and international markets.

Entering the main floor of the Warsaw Stock Exchange means not only greater recognition and access to capital for the Wroclaw-based company. It is also an opportunity to further strengthen its position in the New Space industry and develop new products.

Scanway is an example of a company that has transformed itself from a local start-up into a recognisable player on the international space technology scene. Its successes show that Wroclaw is a place where world-class innovations are created. That is why the creators of Scanway were named winners of the ‘30 Creative People of Wrocław 2017’ award.
