Wroclaw signs cooperation agreement with Smart Cities Council
Investment in technology, sustainable development and international cooperation are key to building a friendly, modern city that is resilient to future challenges. Wroclaw has signed a cooperation agreement with the Smart Cities Council (SCC), a leading global organization supporting over 70 countries in creating smart cities and solutions for them.
The document was signed during the important Smart Cities Summit North America conference, which took place on May 7–8, 2025, in San Francisco—an event dedicated to the future of cities, digital transformation, sustainable development, and technological innovation. It was attended by leaders and experts representing the public and private sectors, as well as scientists from around the world. Conference participants not only listened to lectures and watched presentations, but also exchanged experiences and established partnerships.
We want Wroclaw to be a more efficient city and, as always, to remain at the forefront of cities that care about what our common future will look like.

What does the cooperation with the Smart Cities Council bring to Wroclaw?
For Wroclaw, the key moment of the conference was establishing formal cooperation with the Smart Cities Council – an organization that offers access to:
- specialized acceleration programs,
- training,
- advisory tools,
- a global network of experts.
Thanks to this agreement, Wroclaw has the opportunity to participate in international initiatives that will make it easier to implement modern solutions in areas such as smart infrastructure, urban mobility, and digital transformation.
The signing of the agreement with the Smart Cities Council is an important step for Wroclaw towards becoming an even more modern and friendly city. Thanks to this cooperation, we gain access to knowledge, tools, and a network of partners that will help us to implement Smart City projects more effectively.

Participation in the conference in San Francisco was also part of an economic mission for small and medium-sized enterprises organized by the Wroclaw Agglomeration Development Agency.
