Wroclaw is one of the most attractive places to work. Ranking 2020
Warsaw, Tricity, Wroclaw - these are the most attractive cities in Poland in terms of relocation. The latest Antal survey "Activity of specialists and managers in the labour market" conducted in 2020 shows that 69% of specialists and managers are ready to move to another city if they receive an attractive job offer.
Last year, this ranking looked like this: Warsaw, Wroclaw, Krakow and the Tricity. In 2020, the order changed slightly: Warsaw, Tricity, Wroclaw. The capital of Lower Silesia in Antal's ranking "Activity of specialists and managers in the labor market" has been at the forefront of the list for years.
The Mayor of Wroclaw, Jacek Sutryk, emphasises that staying on the podium in the ranking of the best Polish places to work is proof of the city's strong position.
- Not only that, I would say that our environment is conducive to work, but also life, because the offer in Wroclaw is complete. We create an academic and cultural centre, but we are also modern with a well-functioning technology park. We take care of greenery and clean air. Added to this are the aesthetic qualities of the city, the proximity of European capitals such as Prague or Berlin, and finally the openness of its inhabitants. On themselves and on foreigners who visit us so willingly - says the mayor of Wroclaw.
Wroclaw in the top three
Agnieszka Wójcik, Market Research & PR Manager, Antal notes that Wroclaw ranked third from the first place in the ranking of the most attractive cities in the last 5 years - but still maintains a strong position.
- The slightly lower result, however, does not result from a worse perception of the city by specialists and managers, as the percentage of Wroclaw indications remains at a similar level. However, in the eyes of the respondents, the assessment for the Tri-City and Warsaw is increasing. The selection of middle and senior management is influenced by business factors - such as the number of large, recognizable companies in the city and factors related to the natural environment. In the year of the pandemic, the cultural offer lost its importance - due to the limited access to theaters, cinemas and concerts, and this was always a very strong point of Wroclaw - lists Agnieszka Wójcik.
