Wroclaw is the winner of an extremely important ranking! And this in several categories!
The capital of Lower Silesia has won the prestigious "European Cities & Regions of the Future" ranking, which compares European cities and regions in terms of their economic, financial and business strengths. It won first place in the category of medium-sized cities, but also as the most business-friendly location and with the greatest human potential, and as the best place to live.
The results were announced in the world-recognized ranking of European Cities & Regions of the Future, which is compiled by fDi Intelligence, an opinion magazine from the Financial Times Group. It compared the most promising investment destinations across Europe with each other. As many as 330 cities divided into five categories based on their population were evaluated, as well as 141 European regions divided into three groups - large, medium and small regions. Cities and regions were also evaluated in five subcategories: economic potential, business friendliness, connectivity, human capital and lifestyle, and profitability of investments.
We have something to celebrate!
Wroclaw won in the category of medium-sized cities (200,000 to 750,000 residents), but also took first place as the most business-friendly location, as well as the place with the greatest human potential and as the best place to live. It also took fourth place in the categories of economic potential and development strategy.
I am extremely proud that Wroclaw has once again been recognized in the prestigious FDI Intelligence ranking. This exceptional distinction confirms what an important role Wroclaw plays as a dynamic business center on the international arena. It is the result of the work and efforts of the entire community. Our commitment to social and economic development, strategic location, educated and creative staff, and living conditions make Wroclaw an extremely attractive place for investors from every corner of the globe.

The fDi ranking of European Cities and regions of the Future is compiled by fDi Intelligence, an opinion magazine from the Financial Times Group. The magazine specializes in foreign investment. This is not the first success of the Lower Silesian capital in this ranking. Last year it took first place in the medium-sized cities category for business friendliness and was third among all medium-sized cities. In three other categories, Wroclaw was in the lead.
