Higher education institutions from Wroclaw were presented at the International Education Fair IEF 2023. The five-day event - the largest of its kind in Central Asia - was organized in two countries and four cities.

The fair was prepared with the support of Kazakhstan's national education agency Bolashaq and the Univero education platform. The venues were:

  • Astana (Kazakhstan);
  • Shymkent (Kazakhstan);
  • Almaty (Kazakhstan);
  • Tashkent (Uzbekistan).

Central Asia is becoming one of the key educational markets for Poland, and strengthening the brand of Wroclaw as an important academic center on the map of Europe is now very important. Graduates in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan planning to study higher education abroad are increasingly choosing to study in Europe. For them, Poland is a country where they can earn a European diploma. It is also a country that is relatively cheap compared to other European countries. The rich offer of courses taught in English, the level and quality of education at Wroclaw universities, as well as the openness and attractiveness of the city, meant that the Study in Wroclaw offer was looked at with great interest.
