Wrocław was awarded at Smart City Forum

 The Competition Jury appreciated the city’s efforts in implementing smart solutions, especially the very first in Poland Urban Rental of Electric Cars – VOZILLA. Maciej Bluj, the Vice-President of Wrocław, collected the award during the official ceremony. When receiving the award, he said: “I would like to thank especially my co-workers who have the guts to talk openly in the world of business. Thanks to this, we are able to execute brave projects.” The objective of the Smart City contest is to increase popularity of persons and entrepreneurships which promote solutions aiming at constructing intelligent cities in Poland, as well as the popularity of cities implementing these solutions. Representatives of business sector and local administration were awarded with honorary mentions. The competitiveness of Polish cities, economics and businesses increase thanks to all the projects that implement innovative solutions and technologies. Urban Rental of Electric Cars VOZILLA The Competition Jury appreciated especially the first in Poland Urban Rental of Electric Cars – Vozilla. Since November 2017, the citizens of Wrocław have had the opportunity to use 200 electric vehicles, both passenger cars and delivery trucks, made available by operator company selected by the city. This type of service – very popular among the citizens of Wrocław – has been introduced in Poland for the first time. Poznań was placed second in the category of cities with more than 500 thousand citizens. Source: wroclaw.pl
