The Wroclaw Technology Park is one of the largest complexes in Poland supporting the development of innovative companies through access to specialised infrastructure, laboratories and expert business support. It is one of five institutions in Poland and the only one in the region to have recently been accredited as an Innovation Centre. It confirms the highest standards of quality and professionalism in supporting technological development.

According to Maciej Potocki, President of the WPT, this confirms the key role of this institution in the national innovation ecosystem and underlines the importance of its support for science and business, not only in Wroclaw, but in the entire region.

This proves that we are one of the most highly rated technology and business centres in Poland. I am pleased that with this accreditation, the WPT will be able to offer an even wider range of services to innovative companies and support their development in key areas.

What does the Innovation Centre do?

  • An innovation centre is a facility that provides advanced research and development infrastructure
  • stimulates cooperation between science, business and industry
  • has a strategic function in the Polish innovation ecosystem
  • provides services to help companies increase their competitiveness and respond to current challenges related to digital transformation or sustainable development.

Opportunity for faster development

Thanks to the accreditation, the WPT will gain access to programmes dedicated to innovation centres, including competitions organised by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP) and initiatives financed by European funds. This in turn will lead to additional investment in research infrastructure and a wider range of services for businesses.
